Personal Care Assistant Opportunity

Catholic Healthcare is seeking experienced and passionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team at The Haven in Wagga Wagga. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and home-like environment for our residents, providing personal care and support to enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality personal care, including assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, and toileting
  • Support residents with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and mobility
  • Offer companionship and social support to residents
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve resident-centered care
Requirements:
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Personal Care Assistant in a Residential Aged Care home
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs of residents
