Editorial Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled editorial manager to oversee the publication of our leading international journal. The successful candidate will have a strong background in editing and publishing, with excellent communication and project management skills.

About the Role
  • The editorial manager will be responsible for managing the journal's content, including commissioning articles, reviewing manuscripts, and coordinating the peer review process.
  • They will work closely with authors, reviewers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely publication of high-quality articles.
  • The role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the journal's editorial process, including article commissioning, peer review, and production.
  • Work closely with authors, reviewers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely publication of high-quality articles.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the journal's quality and reputation.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the journal's success and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as English, literature, or publishing.
  • Proven experience in editing and publishing, preferably in an academic or scholarly setting.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
