About This Role: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated personal care workers to provide high-quality in-home care to clients.
This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives, helping them live independently and comfortably at home. As a personal care worker, you will work closely with our registered nurses to deliver personal care based on each client's individualised care plan.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Prepare meals and support clients with nutrition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure clients feel valued and comfortable.
- Drive clients to appointments and social activities and travel between clients' homes.
- Assist with light household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing to the RN.
- Document the services and care provided to the client.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in community or in-home care assistance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Certificate III in Aged Care.
- A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- An NDIS Screening Check (preferred).
- A driver's license and own car with comprehensive car insurance.
