Role Overview

As a parts interpreter, you will be the key connection between customers and service technicians. Your role involves handling sales, receiving and delivering parts, managing attachments and merchandise, and ensuring seamless operations within our service team.

With your expertise and commitment, you'll play a vital part in keeping our customers' machines running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Promotes and sells products to meet customer needs.
  • Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
  • Researches and interprets parts requirements.
  • Places machine down and stock orders.
  • Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with delivery to proper inventory locations.
  • Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays.
  • Assists in keeping the parts department clean and orderly.
  • Follows up on back orders and shortages, advancing issues by reporting to the manager.
  • Maintains current product knowledge.
Key Qualifications
  • A high level of initiative, organisation and time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of data entry and machinery.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Ability to follow safe work environment procedures and operations.
  • Forklift license preferred (we can help you with this).
