The Data Lead plays a critical role in the success of a major transformation project, ensuring the smooth transition of data from legacy systems to new platforms. This involves maintaining data integrity, quality, and security throughout the process. The Data Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives, oversees data governance, and implements best practices for data management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead data migration and integration processes to ensure seamless data transition
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives

  • Provide leadership and expertise in data migration and integration
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout the process

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as a Data Lead or in a similar leadership role
  • 5+ years of experience in managing and leading a data team
  • Preferably experience in Data Management within SAP landscape
  • Strong experience in data governance, data architecture, and data quality management
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to write clear and concise instructional aids
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of software development cycles
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong understanding of data migration and management testing methodologies and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • FMCG experience is a plus
