Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling sheet metal products, including ducts, air conditioning components, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate sheet metal products using templates, gauges, and measuring instruments
- Cut metal stock along guidelines using hand and power shears, guillotines, and drills
- Shape and form cut metal stock into products using folding and bending machines, rollers, presses, and hammers
- Assemble components into final products by welding, riveting, soldering, brazing, and joining
- Finish products by polishing, filing, sanding, and cleaning assembled products
- Repair damaged sheet metal products and components as needed
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification at the level of a Certificate III or higher, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a workshop environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other software applications
