Civil engineers play a pivotal role in shaping the built environment, ensuring that infrastructure projects are executed efficiently and effectively. As a senior Civil Engineering professional, you will oversee design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil components and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plans and conducts independent Civil work requiring sound judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of Civil engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria on medium-size projects.
  • Leads the design, development, modification, and evaluation of Civil components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs) and design standards.
  • Reviews and approves key engineering drawings and calculations and bid summaries.
  • Determines the appropriate use of various civil elements such as earthworks, pavement, rock, concrete, etc., to ensure proper material usage based on project requirements.
  • Origates and checks complex Civil engineering deliverables, such as calculations, specifications, and material requisitions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • Recent team supervision during study and detail design phase of projects.
