Job Description

As a Production Coordinator at MPC, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day running of a VFX Project. You will be responsible for delivering quota and managing tasks across a team of artists/departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Task Management: Assigning tasks to artists under their control to achieve the Daily/Weekly quota targets.
  2. Upstream Coordination: Coordinating on upstream dependencies to ensure enough material is provided to achieve Daily/Weekly quota targets.
  3. Task Reassignment: Reassigning tasks to low/none performing artists.
  4. Creative Leadership: Working with the Creative Leadership team to achieve task sign-off in order to hit daily/weekly quota targets.
  5. Task Briefing: Providing briefing and reference materials to artists to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  6. Shot Grid Management: Maintaining accurate Shot Grid shot and task material, information, and assignment data.
  7. Daily Meetings: Hosting, running, and attending internal dailies for tasks and shots assigned to them with the goal of receiving feedback leading to the sign-off of their quota on time.
  8. Feedback Distribution: Distributing notes and feedback to artists in a timely manner.
  9. Schedule Updates: Updating tasks and schedules based on feedback given with strict approval from the Production Manager and Producer.
  10. Workflow Optimization: Liaising with creative supervision to ensure workflows and toolsets are working to achieve quota delivery on time.
Additional Responsibilities:
  1. Support Production Assistants: Support production assistants & ensure client sends are sent on time & to client specifications.
  2. Key Reports: Support any key reports to update on project progress.
