As a Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our intelligent systems, driving innovation and ensuring interoperability between our core platforms and emerging technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape the technical roadmap and drive business outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining architectural visions for intelligent systems powering future products.
  • Ensuring the long-term architecture evolves in line with company objectives, including enabling complex analytical workloads.
  • Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to shape technical roadmaps and drive business outcomes.
  • Providing technical oversight and guidance to teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
  • Evaluating and selecting key frameworks, patterns, and tools to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Guiding engineering programs through ambiguity towards commercial outcomes or operational efficiencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to operate in the liminal space between business, data, and technical practice.
  • All-of-business ownership mindset over siloed success, leading with integrity and accountability.
  • Mastery of modern software architecture and distributed technologies, with experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in cloud ecosystems, preferably AWS, with deep knowledge of services essential for scalable applications and complex data workloads.
  • Experience with modern AI/ML frameworks, including LLM architectures, vector DBs, and MLOps principles.
