Senior Legal Counsel

A key role in our organisation is to deliver strategic legal outcomes by prioritising ethical practice, employee wellbeing and sustainable growth.

  • Leading the delivery of expert legal advice on employment law matters, including enterprise agreements, awards, contracts, workplace investigations and terminations.
  • Providing guidance on implications for policy, practice and risk through monitoring and interpreting legislative and industrial relations developments.

Our Senior Legal Counsel will lead or contribute to the delivery of strategic legal advice across all aspects of employment law, managing legal risk and ensuring compliance with evolving workplace legislation and regulatory frameworks.

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating employment-related documentation to ensure legal robustness and alignment with organisational values.
  • Partnering with senior internal stakeholders and external counsel to embed legal risk management into the bank's workforce strategy.
