Windows Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Windows Engineer to provide technical expertise within our Server Refresh streams of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the refreshing of technology assets to ensure ongoing operational stability with minimal disruption to business.
  • Coordinate amongst operational and applications teams to implement solutions.
  • Provide technical knowledge of Microsoft physical and virtual standard operating environments to support upgrades across diverse applications and business users.
  • Develop and implement migration strategies for applications from legacy platforms to new platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions using VMWare technologies.
  • Migrate Virtual Machines from private to secure public cloud service providers.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in Server technologies, including blades, chassis, virtualisation, and operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies, including Virtualisation and databases.
  • Experience configuring Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) using VMWare technologies.
  • Experience in migrating applications from legacy platforms to new platforms.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, VMWare, Linux, JBoss products, services, and technology solution environments.
