Corporate Taxation Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Corporate Tax Team, providing expert guidance on complex tax matters and helping clients efficiently manage their tax responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in professional services or industry roles, with a deep understanding of the Australian taxation system and expertise in corporate income tax compliance calculations, processes, and ATO lodgement obligations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to coordinate and manage taxation services for corporate clients, overseeing day-to-day operations, corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and accounting calculations.
  • Deliver a full spectrum of corporate taxation advisory and compliance services tailored to client needs, while supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
  • Lead and mentor the team, fostering career development, and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and celebrates successes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Possess detailed knowledge and experience with the Australian taxation system, acquired through work in a professional services firm or a comparable industry role.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and confidence in leading direct engagements with clients on substantive tax matters and coordinating various engagements.
  • Hold a CA qualification or equivalent, or have completed other postgraduate studies (e.g., Tax Masters), with technical knowledge of IFRS and Tax Accounting considered an advantage.
