Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive and manage the technical evaluation stage of the sales process and mentor the team. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will work closely with the sales team to advise on the sales of our solutions and be a subject matter expert on SaaS security challenges and solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication abilities and technical skills to represent us as the field-facing technical ambassador. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering technical presentations explaining our solutions to prospective and existing customers, partnering internally and externally to assess security needs and determine requirements and alignment of our solutions to prospect pain points, conducting solution proof-of-value engagements to obtain technical wins, and conducting field reconnaissance to provide feedback and insights to product management and engineering.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain our solutions to customers.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to identify customer needs and align our solutions.
  • Conduct proof-of-value engagements to demonstrate the value of our solutions.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve our products and services.

  • Strong communication and technical skills to represent us as the field-facing technical ambassador.
  • Expert-level knowledge of cybersecurity, especially Cloud and SaaS security concerns.
  • Experience interacting with APIs, integrations, and middleware.
  • Competitive and market intelligence reconnaissance abilities.
  • Understanding of routes to market and ability to represent us with various partnerships.
  • Experience with cybersecurity solution stacks and how we are complementary or competitive.
  • Presentation skills for crafting and delivering thought-leadership presentations at security conferences and webinars.
  • Experience working with and fostering growth with Partners and the greater channel.
