Lead Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team.

  • This is a senior role that involves shaping standards and leading projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical and leadership capabilities, as well as experience in electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions across complex water and wastewater projects.
  • Lead tenders, manage projects, and act as the technical authority for electrical design.
  • Develop standards and processes that will underpin long-term capability.
  • Collaborate closely with panel manufacturing to bring innovative solutions beyond traditional consultancy delivery.
  • Mentor and build an engineering team around you.

About You:

  • Chartered Engineer (CPEng) and RPEQ qualification.
  • 10+ years' post-graduate experience in electrical engineering.
  • Strong technical background across CAD, power system design, and fixed plant.
  • Proven project management and tendering experience.
  • Desire to step into a senior leadership role with real autonomy.
