Job Title: Specialist, Technology Operational Risk

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line risk support across Technology & Operations, including risk profiling and assessments, managing control issues and risk events, and overseeing third-party risk governance.
  • Engage with executive-level stakeholders on technology risk management matters, providing strategic advice and guidance.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Technology & Operations Risk Culture Plan, helping to drive a culture of risk awareness and mitigation.
  • Support the identification, assessment, and automation of technology controls, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Enable technology teams to independently apply the Risk Management Framework through intuitive tools and resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.
  • Leverage internal and external data to deliver forward-looking technology risk insights, helping us stay ahead of potential threats.
  • Act as a risk SME on projects, initiatives, remediation, and continuous improvement activities, providing expertise and guidance to colleagues.
  • Collaborate with internal SMEs to support technology assessments and assurance, ensuring that our technology systems are secure and effective.
  • Mentor and uplift the skills of junior team members, helping to develop their risk management capabilities.
  • Contribute to future growth planning and support enterprise programs across the organization.
  • Promote a safe and well environment for all team members, fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity.
