About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team in regional Victoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day kitchen operations and working closely with the Head Chef to achieve culinary excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take their skills to the next level and contribute to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menu plans that showcase creativity and flair
  • Accurately estimate food and labour costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers to secure the best produce and products
  • Monitor and maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene throughout all stages of dish preparation and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and OHS regulations at all times
  • Frozen and preserved foods are handled and stored according to industry standards

Requirements:

  • Completion of relevant Commercial Cookery qualification including Cert IV and Diploma of Hospitality
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a CDP role
