Dynamic Communications Strategist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead the development and delivery of our communications strategy.

Job Description:

As our Dynamic Communications Strategist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive communications plan that elevates our impact and positions us as a leading voice in the policy and ideas space. You will manage and moderate our digital channels, shape our social media presence, and drive initiatives that engage, grow, and support our membership base.

  • Develop and deliver the Centre's communication strategy and plan
  • Advise the leadership team on initiatives to better communicate research, member news, and engagement projects and initiatives
  • Deliver content and support Centre initiatives to position the Centre as a preferred partner for industry practitioners, government agencies, and civil society organisations
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Outstanding written and verbal skills, with the ability to adapt your message seamlessly across platforms and audiences
  • Thriving in fast-paced environments, with the ability to balance competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Highly organised and focused, with the ability to keep projects moving smoothly and ensure no detail is overlooked
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communications, Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating technical and research-related communication content for diverse target audiences
  • Experience in graphic design, copy writing, photography, video, and video editing
