Regional Health Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Regional Health Connector. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a collaborative regional partnership to connect and strengthen local-level health systems action.

This is an exciting opportunity to work autonomously and collaboratively with key stakeholders to facilitate governance, coordination, communications, and reporting for the partnership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and organize steering committee meetings and working groups to support shared decision making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners to foster involvement in the development and implementation of the partnership.
  • Coordinate activities with partners to align strategies and actions, avoid duplication, and ensure partnership deliverables are met.
  • Maintain understanding of current implementation challenges experienced by partners and develop comprehensive solutions to address them.
  • Track funding and deliverables to meet required milestones.
  • Prepare and present detailed plans, reports, discussion papers, and correspondence as required.
Requirements:
  • A public health professional with experience coordinating and implementing population health activities.
  • Strong partnership skills, having successfully navigated complex issues and thrived in collaborative settings.
  • Solid understanding of contemporary health promotion practice and ability to apply systems thinking, collective impact, and place-based approaches.
  • Confident communication skills with different audiences.
