The role of a school counsellor is to provide support and guidance to students, schools and families to improve student wellbeing and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with schools to develop strategies that promote student wellbeing
- Work closely with wellbeing teams and families to create a safe and supportive environment
- Develop and implement multi-tiered systems of support for whole-school, class and individual interventions
The successful candidate will be part of a positive and inclusive school community that enhances student outcomes.
This position is available in various locations, subject to negotiation with the successful applicant.
Essential Qualifications- Proven experience in providing counselling services to students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
