Inventory Management Position

The primary function of this role is to guarantee adherence to stock control procedures, ensuring high levels of stock integrity are maintained at the branch.

This involves the analysis of reports and thorough investigation of inventory-related discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate daily inventory reports and conduct in-depth analysis
  • Conduct routine cycle counts to verify stock accuracy
  • Investigate all discrepancies within predetermined time frames
  • Perform regular stock adjustments to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Ensure accurate recording and filing of reports, stock adjustments, and other relevant documentation
  • Verify the accuracy of stock receipting and process customer orders efficiently
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in stock control, including stocktakes, cycle counts, and supplier relationships
  • Holding a valid High Risk Forklift Licence
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior time management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the capacity to work under pressure
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
