As a senior content professional, you will oversee the production of Arabic News bulletins, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery. This role requires experience in journalism, with demonstrated skills in professional journalism.

  • Journalism experience is essential for this role, with a proven track record of producing high-quality content.
  • You will work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, overseeing workflows, supervising vision, scripts, GFX, and requesting changes as needed.
  • With broadcast experience, you will supervise and subedit TV content, including managing teams to deliver technical solutions on time.
  • Understanding of national and international news, as well as contextualizing everyday news, is crucial for this role.
  • Knowledge of Australia's legal framework and Media Law is also required, along with strong planning and coordination skills within the team and organization.
  • You will coach the team on voice delivery and writing to pictures, while understanding the importance of Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures in SBS Charter.
  • Experience providing content across all news platforms and understanding video editing are also necessary.
