Job Title: Arabic Language Content Producer

The Audio and Language Content team is seeking a producer to join us in creating linguistically diverse public broadcasting. We produce Australian-focused news and information in 68 languages across live radio and digital platforms.

To succeed in this role, you will have a sound understanding of the Arabic-speaking community in Australia and its cultural sensitivities. You will contribute to fostering audience engagement on-air and online by researching, writing, producing, translating and presenting audio content (including news, current affairs and community stories).

You will be proficient in speaking and typing in Arabic as well as English, and comfortable participating in a language assessment task as part of our interview process. This is a Casual position, located in Sydney.

We are looking for someone with demonstrated professional experience using social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Prior experience in journalism or broadcasting will also be highly regarded.

Required Skills and Qualifications
