As a seasoned construction professional, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of projects across various international locations.

About the Role
  • This position involves managing and directing site-based activities to ensure alignment with client and project requirements.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining the quality of output from the site team, while ensuring adherence to company, client, regulatory, and contractual standards.
  • Overseeing the construction team to guarantee they operate at the highest standard is also a key aspect of this role.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and management skills, coupled with experience in construction supervision and project management. They must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintaining quality control and adhering to set standards.
  2. Directing site-based activities to meet client and project requirements.
  3. Overseeing the construction team to ensure they perform at the highest level.
  4. Ensuring effective utilization of resources, including people, materials, machinery, and processes.
  5. Regularly communicating with Project Managers and providing updates on construction progress.
  6. Overseeing procurement, purchasing, and transportation of site equipment in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
  7. Notifying relevant Managers immediately of any safety or environmental incidents.
Requirements
  • A technical certificate or tertiary education qualification in Construction Management (or equivalent) is desirable.
  • A minimum of 15 years' experience in various aspects of construction supervision in the mineral processing and related industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Solid technical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while consistently producing high-quality deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve consistently high standards within budgetary and schedule constraints.
