Luxury Hotel Ambassador

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Luxury Hotel Ambassador at The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Hobart.
Overview: As a Luxury Hotel Ambassador, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every guest feels valued and appreciated during their stay with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a Guest Experience Ambassador, ensure the guests' needs and requests are met, providing a seamless and personalized experience from check-in to check-out and everywhere in between.
- Work efficiently with all departments to maintain and deliver a high-quality guest experience, collaborating closely with the Front Desk and Guest Services teams.
- Complete a variety of front office tasks, which will keep your days interesting and engaging, from selling hotel facilities to taking reservations and maintaining guest accounts.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Respond promptly and professionally to all calls (both internal and external), assisting with guest inquiries and directing them to the appropriate department.
- Assist with reservation enquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information and resolving any issues.
- Provide exceptional personalized service to clients and guests, exceeding their expectations and building strong relationships.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our hotel product and services, ensuring that you can provide expert advice and recommendations to our guests.
- Operate the switchboard effectively, handling all calls efficiently and professionally.
- Perform various administrative duties, including data entry and record-keeping.
What We Are Looking For:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Call Centre, Reservations or Reception roles, preferably in a luxury hospitality environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone manner.
- An enthusiastic approach and positive attitude, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Superior customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues alike.
- Prior experience with Opera and PABX systems is highly desirable.
- A willingness to work a seven-day rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits and incentives.
