As a Project Director at Nextdc Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward and transforming the way businesses operate in the digital world. You will be responsible for providing leadership and driving a high-performing, collaborative team culture to safely deliver highly specialised data centre fitout projects.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing customised solutions that meet the customer's needs while aligning with the data centre's capabilities and infrastructure requirements for the fitout.
  • Coordinating with Customer Stakeholders to establish strong working relationships with key customer representatives and facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
  • Ensuring Customer Satisfaction by striving to exceed customer expectations by delivering a high-quality fitout that meets or surpasses their requirements and addressing any feedback or complaints promptly.
  • Providing client-side oversight and direction to the project team, to achieve the end-to-end implementation of new data centre solutions, embedding a strong safety culture, and driving operational and business improvement initiatives.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience in leading the management and construction of data centre or technical fitout or other critical infrastructure projects with a capital expenditure focus.
  • Good knowledge of local building codes and standards including town planning and authority processes.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of successfully developing, managing and empowering high-performing cross-functional teams.
