Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing Programs: Collaborate with the Service Coordinator to develop engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs of children;
  • Maintaining Compliance: Ensure compliance with policy and regulatory requirements, maintaining a safe and secure environment for children;
  • Building Relationships: Foster strong relationships with families and the school community, promoting collaboration and mutual understanding;
  • Administrative Tasks: Undertake administrative tasks, including record-keeping, reporting, and communication with stakeholders;
  • Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in childcare and education;
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the management team and educators to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum Diploma in Children Services);
  • Demonstrated experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare;
  • Proven ability to maintain effective administration and correct documentation in an OSHC service;
  • Excellent customer service skills and verbal and written communication skills;
  • First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain; and
  • Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
