We are seeking a committed Aboriginal Case Manager to support women and children residing in our secure refuge as they recover from experiences of family violence.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work as part of a supportive team to provide trauma-informed, culturally safe, and empowering case management, advocacy, and practical support to women with a range of complex needs.
- Conduct culturally appropriate risk assessments, safety planning, and case plans to meet the individual needs of clients.
- Provide crisis intervention, court support, and tenancy advocacy to ensure the best possible outcomes for women and children.
- Support women with housing applications and daily parenting needs, promoting stability and security.
- Develop and lead culturally relevant group activities and weekend programs to foster connection and community.
- Maintain accurate client records and case notes using internal systems to inform service delivery and improvement.
- Collaborate with external services and promote strong sector relationships to enhance the lives of Aboriginal women and families.
- Contribute to service planning, training, and continuous improvement to ensure the highest standard of care.
