About the Role

We are seeking an experienced secondary education tutor to join our team at the Kip McGrath Education Centre in Coorparoo, QLD. As a tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students in English and Mathematics, using our proven methodologies and custom-built software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students in a small group setting, using our Kip McGrath methodology to promote academic growth and confidence.
  • Tutor students in a positive and caring manner, focusing on individual needs and goals.
  • Use our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct face-to-face lessons, minimizing preparation time.
  • Commit to every scheduled class, ensuring consistency and reliability for our students.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and goals, providing regular feedback to parents.
  • Work up to 2-3 sessions per day, Monday to Saturday, in our Coorparoo Centre or online as required.
Requirements
  • A teaching degree or currently studying towards one.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • A friendly, professional, and personable manner.
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • A positive and vibrant personality.
  • Confidence using software and computers.
  • A genuine love for learning and teaching.
  • Reliable, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability and willingness to teach face-to-face and online, as required by management.
