Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to oversee and coordinate Defence vessel programs for in-service support and maintenance.

  • Establish a multi-disciplined team and drive performance through functional enablement to deliver on project objectives.
  • Ensure appropriate project management methodology and control is deployed while providing leadership to the project team.
Key Responsibilities

Enable and empower the project team to deliver to cost, schedule, and quality to meet or exceed customer and contractual obligations.

  • Implement an Earned Value Management System (EVMS) for the project.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships for the life of the project.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable Project Management experience.
  • Demonstrable experience working in performance-based contracting.
  • Previous project management experience with Defence/Commercial contracts.
Desirable Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Experience in Shipbuilding/Repair Industry.
  • Project Management certification through a professional PM Body.
  • Demonstrable experience with Ship Management.
