Operational Excellence Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for a driven leader who can influence, communicate and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced and growing environment.

The successful candidate will have the ability to implement new and beneficial production improvements and strategies into the business, fostering longer-term initiatives to continuously improve production, safety, quality, resource and materials utilisation, staff skills and competencies.

Key responsibilities include managing the operational effectiveness of Production Lines, Stores & Service through systems and procedures, driving Operator training and development through Supervisors, partnering with other areas of the business to ensure the production line delivers on its business plan and targets.

The role also requires acting as a coach and mentor for Shift Supervisors, and production staff, promoting and adhering to Lean Manufacturing Standards.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in a leadership and management role in a manufacturing environment
  • High literacy and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge/experience in Manufacturing including Safety and Quality standards
  • Ability to work with everyone from factory staff up to Senior Management
