Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and readiness of our equipment for customer delivery.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing new build parts enquiries, coordinating with vendors regarding part arrival dates, conducting thorough inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, collaborating with technicians to resolve issues prior to delivery, maintaining accurate records of inspections, repairs, and modifications, and communicating with internal teams and external customers regarding delivery timelines and equipment status.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee new build parts enquiries to ensure timely delivery of high-quality equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors to confirm part arrival dates and ensure smooth delivery process
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, including regular audits and testing
  • Collaborate with technicians to resolve issues prior to delivery, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and modifications, including documentation and reporting
  • Communicate with internal teams and external customers regarding delivery timelines and equipment status, providing updates and notifications as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid driving license
  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft suite, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience in a quality assurance or similar role, preferably in Construction or Mining Industry
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, with ability to identify and address potential issues
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques, including knowledge of industry standards and regulations
