Program Overview

Based at our Rockhampton branch, this program will provide you with accelerated learning opportunities, professional networking, and placement mobility once the program concludes.

  • Accelerated learning experiences to kick-start your career in livestock
  • Professional networking opportunities to socialize with peers and leaders across the business
  • Placement mobility once the 24-month program ends

You will have the opportunity to work in both saleyard and branch environments, being mentored and guided by experienced livestock employees and leaders. You will learn effective selling and relationship-building techniques.

Key Skills and Knowledge
  • Business skills – compliance, sales, client relationship building, communication, marketing and social media, understanding finance, problem solving, and negotiation and leading and managing a team
  • Livestock skills – next-generation stock and station agency skills, livestock productivity, animal health and nutrition, auctioneering, wool technical, and market requirements

Suitable candidates will be offered a position in November to commence the role in February 2026.
