Job Overview

Maintenance Engineers are essential to ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge, planning skills, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage both preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute both preventive and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Act as the owner of the site's SAP-based system, ensuring accurate asset records and maintenance history.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance operations and lead weekly planning meetings with production teams.
  • Generate detailed reports that track plan adherence and completed work.
  • Manage the site's spare parts inventory.
  • Assign contractors to maintenance tasks based on urgency and priority.
  • Ensure all contractor work complies with site health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations for significant equipment failures or recurring issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance engineering role.
  • Experience with SAP or similar CMMS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Familiarity with safety compliance and regulatory standards.
