As a Cloud Network Optimization Specialist, you will contribute to the ongoing analysis and reporting of commercial and technical information relating to Sony's global network. This includes the collection and synthesis of financial, contractual and networking data.

Job DescriptionThe Cloud Network Optimization Specialist role is part of our Network Planning team, which is at the forefront of planning for and building the global network that makes this possible. Your responsibilities will include:
- Gathering network and commercial data and loading it into established databases.
- Sourcing, reviewing, and validating financial and commercial obligations from active contracts.
- Analyzing invoices related to the operation and maintenance of our network and communicating key findings.
- Linking invoice payments to contractual obligations and identifying discrepancies.
- Developing reports to summarize findings.
- Working closely with other analysts to understand relationships between service agreements, invoices, and the performance of the network.
- Establishing and contributing to documentation and reporting structures that support the continual review of the network.
- Working closely with SIE stakeholders to identify business requirements and translating them into actionable plans.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in a technical procurement or technical business analyst capacity.
- Highly proficient Excel spreadsheet skills.
- Able to understand networking principles and fundamentals.
- Proven analytical abilities.
- Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools (e.g. Slack, Google Drive) and office management tools (e.g. Office365).
Estimated salary: AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and local market conditions.
