Description:\

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking site assistant to join our team. As a site assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our building renovation projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Moving materials and equipment to and from job sites\
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas\
  • Assisting experienced leading hands with power tools and machinery\
  • Helping with the setup and transfer of structures (e.g., aluminium scaffolding)\
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace safety protocols\
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients and colleagues\
  • Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders\
  • Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge\
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment\
  • Meeting deadlines and working efficiently to achieve project goals\
  • Reporting any incidents or near misses to supervisors promptly\
  • Following all company policies and procedures\
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors\

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualities and qualifications:

  • A current white card (construction induction training card) is essential\
  • A valid driver's license or bike license is required\
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills\
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces\
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor\
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and weekends\
  • Reliability and punctuality\
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office\
  • High school diploma or equivalent\
