Description:

• We are seeking skilled wall and floor tilers for a full-time position.
• Candidates must have relevant qualifications or extensive experience in tile laying, surface preparation, and quality alignment.
• This role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work accurately, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Examining plans, measuring, and marking surfaces, as well as laying out work with precision.
2. Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces thoroughly.
3. Using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes.
4. Grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout effectively.
5. Applying waterproofing systems to ensure durability and longevity.
6. Laying floors of granolithic, terrazzo, cement, or similar composition with high accuracy.
7. Attaching tiles to various surfaces using numerous adhesives, ensuring proper bonding.
8. Maintaining correct tile alignment and spacing throughout the project.

Requirements:

• A relevant Education qualification: Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling is highly valued.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere, possessing excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated trustworthiness and reliability as a worker.
• A valid driver's license and own transport vehicle or equipment are required.
