Wall and Floor Tiling Professional

A highly skilled and experienced tile layer is required to work on various projects, including wall and floor tiling.

The ideal candidate will possess a Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent experience, with a strong focus on teamwork and communication skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Examining plans and measuring surfaces for accurate marking and laying out of work
  • Preparing surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning the area
  • Cutting and shaping tiles using specialized tools for edges, corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes
  • Grouting tiles and cleaning excess grout
  • Applying waterproofing systems
  • Laying floors made of granolithic, terrazzo, cement, or similar materials
  • Attaching tiles to various surfaces using different adhesives

This role requires at least 38 hours of work per week and offers a supportive working atmosphere and opportunities for career growth.
