Physiotherapy Role Opportunity

This position offers a unique chance to work in acute and rehabilitation settings as part of a multidisciplinary team. As a physiotherapist, you will provide high-quality services to patients with various conditions.

The role is appointed at an AHP1 level and involves working on a rotation basis across both the acute and rehabilitation services within the hospital. The successful applicant will be committed to relevant professional development and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, monitor and progress individual treatment plans
  • Comprehensive assessment of patients with a wide variety of conditions
  • Development of patient-focused goals
  • Discharge planning with patients to ensure a safe and timely discharge
  • Prescribing and arranging for provision of appropriate equipment

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy, which entitles registration with the AHPRA
  • Enthusiasm to support the physiotherapy team to provide high-quality physiotherapy services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to relevant professional development
  • Ability to engage and work collaboratively with relevant internal and external agencies
  • Computer literate, with ability to organise, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Flexibility to work across acute, rehabilitation and ambulatory day-patient services
  • Willingness to undertake pool rescue training and participate in hydrotherapy sessions
