Rural and remote healthcare services are in need of dedicated professionals like you. The Australian Government's rural workforce capacity agenda is being supported by the delivery of essential healthcare services to underserved regions.

This position involves working as a Registered Midwife, providing high-quality care to families in rural and remote communities across Australia. You will be delivering evidence-based midwifery care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and adapting to various clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver midwifery care across pregnancy, labour, birth, and postnatal periods
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams for safe and culturally appropriate services
  • Provide responsive, compassionate care in rural and remote settings
  • Adapt to limited resources in various clinical settings

To be successful, you must have current registration with AHPRA as a Midwife, minimum 3 years of full-time midwifery experience, and at least 250 hours of relevant clinical practice within the past 12 months.
