Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit elderly residents in their homes or care facilities">
  • Engage in activities such as conversation, reading, playing games, or doing puzzles">
  • Provide companionship and emotional support">

Requirements:

Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to commit to regular visits

A National Police Check is required, which will be arranged and paid for by our organization

">

We would be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for visits between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday

Visits could be weekly to fortnightly, depending on your availability
