Key Yard Tug Driver Opportunity

Branched People is seeking a motivated and skilled Yard Tug Driver to join our team.

  • Operate the yard tug in a safe and appropriate manner at all times ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Plan and monitor all trailer movements to meet operational time schedules.
  • Report any damage to freight or equipment immediately for prompt resolution.
  • Perform regular visual inspections of trailers and raise concerns with your Supervisor.
  • Contribute to general housekeeping duties.
  • Position local yard equipment effectively according to operational requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years recent experience as MC Driver with emphasis on driving large vehicles.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with people at all levels.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Interstate loading and unloading experience an advantage.
  • Strapping experience highly valued.
