Job Title

This dynamic, fast-paced role requires technical diagnostic skills and robust customer relationship abilities. The position involves installing, maintaining, servicing, and repairing production print products and services in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs.

The role demands a hands-on approach with extensive field work and on-road travel required. You will need to work collaboratively and independently within a self-directed work team.

The company provides a fully maintained vehicle, necessary tools and equipment, training, and manuals to support your success.

  • Corrective Servicing: Analyse, diagnose, and rectify equipment issues to minimise downtime.
  • Preventative Servicing: Service and maintain installed equipment, including scheduled maintenance visits.
  • Installation: After initial training, engineers will be involved in commissioning equipment installations, which are often large and heavy.
  • Training: Conduct training sessions on the use and basic maintenance of systems when required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure your equipment, uniform, spare parts, phone/laptop, and vehicle are always complete, orderly, and clean.
  • Stay informed and up-to-date with the latest industry developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, along with strong IT and technical/electromechanical knowledge, is desirable. However, we also consider new school/tertiary leavers interested in forging a career in the Print Industry.
  • Collaborative approach to work and stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Experience in a technically oriented customer support role in a similar environment is beneficial.
  • Customer-oriented, excellent communication skills, and a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to drive your own workload in collaboration with the team to achieve personal and team KPIs.
  • Safety awareness and practices in previous positions.
  • Professionalism, independence, reliability, and pride in your work.
  • Driver's License, Working with Children Check, and current Police Check.
  • Covid Vaccination required to be maintained for this position.
  • Ability to read and visualise colour accurately.
  • Ability to travel interstate for training when required and permitted.
