Your Opportunity

We're seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our team in the South Adelaide area. As a Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide best practice personal, social, and emotional care to patients in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include supporting patients with activities of daily living, such as mobility, showering, dressing, and personal grooming, as well as assisting with meal preparation, transportation to appointments, and domestic duties.

This is a casual opportunity offering flexibility to work shifts across 7 am to 9 pm. You'll be required to work a 7-day roster and will be reimbursed for travel between patients. You'll also receive additional penalties for working weekends.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with recent experience in a similar role (2+ years), ideally in a community setting. You'll need to demonstrate compassion, integrity, and a patient-centred mindset. You'll also need to be comfortable working autonomously and be able to keep to a schedule. Additionally, you'll need to have:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • A current Working with Children or DCSI check (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
  • Certificates to provide First Aid and CPR
  • Covid19 vaccination and up to date Flu vax
