Our Business Support Officer role offers a dynamic opportunity to work within the Business Services team, managing finances, human resources, and assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in:
- SAP reporting
- SAP eForms
- Contract management (raising and amending purchase orders)
- Journals
- Maintenance of IT systems including purchasing of hardware, software, licenses, and consumables, and telecommunications devices and plans
- Promaster
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Experience or skills in SAP, Aurion, and other Government systems
- Monitoring and maintaining office administration systems to ensure efficient operation of the department
- Reconciling IT monthly charges from SAP to asset register and taking appropriate action for any discrepancies
- Monitoring payroll costing reports and leave management
- Preparing monthly reports via linking SAP financial data and open purchase orders to project internal workbooks
- Oversight of the Department's Operations inbox
- Ensuring accurate processing and payment of purchase orders
- Preparation and processing of general purpose expenditure and revenue vouchers
- Assisting with corporate card transactions, gift declaration forms, fringe benefits tax forms, and eTicket registers
This position also involves establishment management including position maintenance and organisational charts, as well as utilising computer-based word processing and electronic document management system to prepare documents and maintain accurate filing systems.
