We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Clinical Nurse to deliver expert, person-centered paediatric nursing care through telehealth and home visits.
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and managing individual care plans, ensuring effective therapeutic interventions and monitoring patient outcomes daily.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical leadership on shifts, guiding less experienced staff and supporting seamless patient flow within the team.
- Collaborate in service planning, quality improvement, and change management initiatives to enhance care delivery and operational efficiency.
- Support clinical education, mentoring students and new staff while contributing to research, audits, and development of clinical protocols.
- Registered or eligible Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible for a current practicing certificate.
- Minimum 3 years full-time equivalent post-registration nursing/midwifery experience, demonstrating clinical competence.
- Proven experience in guiding student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently, prioritize workload, and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, healthcare standards, quality improvement systems, and contemporary nursing/midwifery issues.
