Medical Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Officer to join our team and provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Medical Officer to contribute to our department's vision of delivering high-quality healthcare services that promote healthier lives in our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert medical assessment and management of patients within our department/service.
  • Demonstrate commitment to teaching, professional behavior, and research relevant to our department's needs.
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, communicate effectively, and provide high-standard clinical care in the public sector.
Requirements:
  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) and a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons or equivalent, with subspecialty training in Orthopaedic, Plastic, or General Surgery.
  • Evidence of ongoing medical education and self-monitoring or audit practices.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Please note that this position may be varied as agreed with the Director of Medical Services and as approved by other authorities to other facilities.
