Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including inventory management and control
  • Lead a small team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Manage safety and compliance, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers
  • Ensure customer KPIs are met and adhered to
  • Manage the warehouse budget and financials

Requirements:

  • Freight forwarding experience
  • Previous experience running a warehouse
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • A strong safety focus
  • Continuous improvement experience
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A current forklift license
  • Perishables experience is advantageous
