About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud and Azure Architect to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Engineering: Design and implement scalable cloud solutions using Azure technologies.
  • Intune and Compliance Management: Enhance Intune capabilities, manage compliance policies, and configure Conditional Access.
  • Azure AD and Active Directory: Administer Azure AD and manage Active Directory Group Policies.
  • Microsoft 365 and SCCM: Manage Exchange (online and on-prem) and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM).
  • Certificate Management: Configure and deploy certificate solutions, including WiFi Certificate Management.
  • Mitigation and Standards Compliance: Implement Essential Eight Standards for robust mitigation strategies.
  • Design and Technical Meetings: Develop and present designs, and participate actively in Technical CAB meetings.
  • Mentorship and ITIL: Act as a mentor to team members and support ITIL practices (preferred).
  • PowerShell Scripting: Proficient in PowerShell scripting is required.

Requirements:

  • Certification: Azure Certified.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience as a Senior Cloud and Windows Engineer with expertise in design, build, configuration, and testing.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration in workshops, team meetings, and product showcases.
  • Documentation Skills: Proficient in creating as-built guides, configuration documents, and playbooks.
  • Location: Based in Melbourne, with a hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days per week in the office).
