Procurement Manager Job

We're looking for an experienced procurement professional to join our team and play a key role in shaping our tendering process. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing product sourcing reference libraries, anticipating and preparing tenders, and building relationships with local suppliers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate and prepare robust and competitive cost commitments for Digital and Integrated Systems projects, such as Suburban Rail Loop, Sydney Metro West, and Digital System
  • Manage product sourcing reference library to fit with market prices and deliver value to the business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to drive performance and efficiency
  • Cordinate, consolidate and secure sourcing activities, performance and efficiency
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience from a similar role within a large project organisation ideally rail manufacturing or production or engineering
  • Genuine interest in delivering successful outcomes and excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented and ability to challenge and drive best practices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tender processes and procedures
