About the Role

Gippsland Water is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Officer Field Services to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in the proactive management of maintenance and capital works activities for reticulated assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice to the Senior Engineer Field Services to ensure the effective management of maintenance and capital works activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve the requirements of Gippsland Water's Customer Charter and Essential Services Commission (ESC) performance measures.
  • Lead and provide guidance to stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of maintenance and minor capital works within budget and scope.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role within the water industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering maintenance and minor capital works within budget and scope.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and provide guidance to stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
